Big Sister / Big Brother Program – A Chapter of Muslim Families Network Society

Mission Statement

• A parent–partnership program run by professionals, children learn the importance of caring, sharing, tolerance, patience and understand the value of self-worth being a Muslim

• This program is for young girls and boys ages 6 and up – where they learn Qur’an, Sunna, Tajweed, Tafseer, Memorization, Islamic Studies and Islamic History

• The program assists children, youth and their families with challenges that may arise at home, school and workplace and give both parents and their children effective channels through effective support

• A program where youth and parents can share their knowledge and skills

• MFNS seeks to create Muslim leaders that have a balanced understanding of Islam and how it fits into their western indigenous culture

    2. Children build a healthy and nurturing relationship with their peers and parents
    3. Apply Islamic values in their daily life and be a positive role model

Since many years the MFNS Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program has been well known and respected for the important service they provide to children in our community.

Toastmaster Youth Leadership Program

The Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program is an 8-10 session workshop series designed to help young adults develop their communication and leadership skills.
