MFNS started their Food Bank Program in 2004.

Donate Food, Food-Gift Cards, Bus Vouchers or Money!

We need your help!

Only with your on-going support, MFNS is successful in the fight against hunger in our community. MFNS Food Bank relies solely on individual, corporate and foundation support to help us feed people in need. In 2008, 250 families were supported with your kind donations.

FOOD BANK POLICIES

Eligibility Criteria:

• Individuals or Families who are on social welfare assistance
• Unemployment insurance
• Refugees and new immigrants without jobs are eligible to take assistance from HALAL FOOD AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS BANK.

To Register: Please bring your ID's such as S.I.N., Alberta Health Card, any Government Assistance, Child Tax Benefit, Passport, Immigration ID, Proof of your Income and Rent.
